The village of Grosmont is conveniently situated in pleasant countryside between the moors and the sea. It is the home of the North Yorkshire Moors Steam Railway, which runs a regular service to Pickering via Goathland 
(Heartbeat Country).
Hazelwood House is located on the high street, less than a minute away from the railway line,
and is on the route of the coast to coast walk.
